A Brief Summary of Brad Carson’s Work:
Brad Carson is known for getting jobs for gang-members as a way to increase public safety, reduce crime, reduce recidivism, and save lives. What he does is provides expert technical assistance to advocate/educate/influence Politicians and Department Heads and other policy decision-makers in order to create local hiring and “set-asides” for the urban core target population in major construction development projects. He then identifies, organizes, mobilizes, and coordinates gang-truce peacemakers, gang- members, community-based organizations, faith- based organizations, and other social- service agencies/providers to get local at- risk youth/high-risk adults JOB READY. He then acts as a JOB COORDINATOR to place the job ready participants into the locally created community JOB OPPORTUNITY.
His motto is: “Jobs Create Peace, NOJOBS = NO PEACE”
